A live Roblox game I've led engineering on since launch, as one of two engineers. I build the gameplay systems, run releases, and keep it stable for the thousands of players online every day.
I joined as one of two engineers before launch and have led development and technical direction ever since. The game has grown to roughly $500k in annual revenue and around 1,000 average concurrent players.
Most of my work is gameplay systems written in Luau, covering both server logic and the player-facing interface. Updates are driven by player feedback and analytics, so new features, balance changes, and fixes ship on a regular cadence.
Outside of Roblox, I built a web-based admin platform with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, served through Nginx on Ubuntu. It gives the team secure access to player data and powers feature flags that change behavior in production without a game update.
I also own live operations: managing releases through GitHub workflows, diagnosing production issues, and keeping the game stable for thousands of concurrent players.
